  • Liz Duffy Adams' wonderful play follows a vaudevillian troupe through a future wasteland. The most enigmatic of the characters is Dog, a man whose past causes him such shame that he demotes himself from the human race.

The Dog of ideas and paper transforms into the Dog of the stage.

I was lucky enough to be invited to contribute to the stage experience and designed signage used as props during the performance. This was my first experience with the process of bringing stories to the stage, and I am hooked.

One of the design decisions made during my meetings with Flux was to physically link all three production images for season 4 into one panoramic image, image no. 1 representing Dog Act, image no. 2 representing Ajax in Iraq by Ellen McLaughlin and image no. 3 representing Menders by Erin Browne (January 2012).

Thanks to Dog Act director Kelly O'Donnell for bringing me in.
